Rieter, a producer of textile machinery based in Winterthur, Switzerland, is selling the world’s first complete spinning process using the J 70 air-jet spinning technology to Chinese company Guangxi Baisheng Textile. According to a press release, this step will enable the Chinese textile company, which is based in the Guangxi region, to ensure a steady supply of yarn for its knitting operations. Rieter’s J 70 air-jet spinning machine has over 200 individually automated spinning units; these have speeds of up to 600 meters per minute and support up to four lots simultaneously. Rieter’s yarn clearer can also identify yarn that is too weak during the production process, ensuring that the high product quality is maintained.
“We are proud to build the world’s first complete air-jet spinning system with our latest J 70 spinning technology in partnership with Baisheng Textile,” says Michael Hubensteiner, Country Managing Director Rieter China. “This cutting-edge spinning system will enable Baisheng Textile to achieve a new level of competitiveness and expand their industry leadership.” “Together with Rieter, we will set an all-new benchmark in the industry, elevating the quality and productivity of air-jet spinning to unprecedented levels,” adds Yiyu Zhan, Chairman of Guangxi Baisheng Textile Co., Ltd. ce/eb
