Kauf AG and Philipp Fankhauser are both celebrating notable milestones this year. While the blues musician, who was born in Thun in the canton of Bern, turned 60 back in February this year, the shirt brand from Ebnat-Kappel in the canton of St.Gallen can now look back on 120 years of company history. Kauf intends to mark both occasions by launching special creations.

To celebrate its own company anniversary, the shirt brand is launching a jubilee collection. The shirts will be available in time for the Christmas season, as Kauf writes in a press release. Each shirt will be packaged in a black and gold gift box.

Philipp Fankhauser always wears shirts from the Jakob Kauf collection when he appears on stage, Kauf states. The shirts in the collection, which are made entirely in Switzerland, are a homage to the fashion brand’s roots when it was founded in 1904. To mark Fankhauser’s 60th birthday, Kauf has created another shirt made entirely in Switzerland. The shirts will only be available in specialist shops and upscale department stores, while a certificate signed by Philipp Fankhauser is included with each purchase. ce/hs
