Baptiste Chassagne joins On

(CONNECT) The French trail runner Baptiste Chassagne has been signed up by On, the Zurich-based manufacturer of sports equipment. As detailed in a press release, the extreme sports athlete is keen to “grow together” with the brand. Last year, Chassagne finished in second place at the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB).

“I am happy and proud to join the On team”, Chassagne states in the press release, before expressing his belief that the On project aligns best with his own vision and values. “I can’t wait to be a small part of this and contribute. I’m excited to honor this jersey and the hard work of the teams behind it”, he concludes.

David Kilgore, Trail Athlete Manager at On, explains that from the company’s perspective Chassagne possesses a connection with the mountains that fits perfectly with On’s philosophy. He states that On is “thrilled” to aid the elite trail runner’s “pursuit of excellence”. ce/ww
