The underwear brand Sloggi has launched the Ever Ease collection. According to a press release issued by HeiQ, the brand, which is owned by Triumph International from Bad Zurzach in the canton of Aargau, Switzerland, has enhanced the new range of women’s cotton-based underwear and bodywear with HeiQ Smart Temp technology. The Sloggi Ever Ease collection is designed for ultimate comfort, with the intelligent temperature regulation helping to keep wearers feeling fresh all day long, as the press release explains further.
The HeiQ Smart Temp technology, which was developed by the technology company HeiQ based in Schlieren in the canton of Zurich for use in textiles, reacts dynamically to body heat, cools down when necessary and deactivates as soon as the wearer of the underwear has cooled down, according to the press release. The cooling function is activated by rising body temperature and deactivated as soon as the cooldown has been completed, as HeiQ writes. The process can achieve a fabric temperature that is up to 2.5 degrees Celsius cooler, while the performance of this textile technology has been successfully tested more than 5,000 times.
HeiQ technology is used by over 50 major brands worldwide on more than 300 million garments, the press release states. It has no effect on the fabric properties and can be used for all types of fibers, including natural fibers, synthetic fibers and blended fibers. The process is suitable for clothing, hosiery and home textiles.
HeiQ, a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH), is headquartered at the IJZ, an innovation and start-up park located in Schlieren. The company is also a member of Start Smart Schlieren. ce/gba
