Textilcolor AG from Sevelen in the canton of St.Gallen has opened a new subsidiary in Türkiye, further details of which can be found in a press release. Since January, the team comprising Adnan Saka, Alptekin Yildirim and Caner Cakiroglu has been on hand to provide customer support. The headquarters of the new subsidiary Textilcolor Turkey Kimya A.S are located in the city of Osmangazi in the western Turkish province of Bursa.
Textilcolor has been active in Türkiye since 2010. Alongside its new Turkish subsidiary, a Brazilian subsidiary, Textilcolor Brasil Ltda with its headquarters in Itajai located on the South Atlantic coast, was also opened in 2023.
Textilcolor offers a wide range of specialty chemicals for the textiles industry. The company is a keen supporter of the circular economy and develops biodegradable products. In 2023, the company joined an international initiative that aims to ban the use of chemical toxins in production processes.
Textilcolor AG is a member of the international initiative Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC). Based in Amsterdam, the charitable foundation has already managed to sign up more than 150 businesses active in the chemicals industry. It is committed to banning hazardous materials from the global supply chains that serve the fashion industry.
Textilcolor AG was founded in 1978 in Buchs in the canton of St.Gallen. In 1990, Textilcolor Holding AG was founded, including the subsidiaries Textilcolor AG, Servotext Chemie AG, Textilcolor GmbH and Textilcolor Consulting AG. ce/gba
