(CONNECT) FREITAG, the bagmaker from Zurich, and the Paris-based fashion brand Études Studio have designed a new bag model and launched it in the market. As detailed in a press release, the messenger bags, which are being marketed under the name F41 Hawaii Five-0, are made from recycled truck tarpaulins, as is customary at FREITAG.
The limited-edition bags are available in select colorways to match the familiar blue of Études Studio. The Parisian company’s signature stars were applied via a screen printing process. The bag features an outer and inner compartment that each have a Velcro fastener, while the adjustable shoulder straps are made from second-hand car seat belts. The new edition is recognizable by the black FREITAG label, whereby the É is highlighted in white to signify the co-branding with the Parisian studio.
The new collection was designed in partnership with the Algerian artist Mohamed Bourouissa, who was also the brains behind the launch campaign for the collaboration between FREITAG and Études Studio. The F41 Hawaii Five-0 range is available now at select retailers and online. ce/ww
