(CONNECT) TTS Inova AG from Thayngen in the Swiss canton of Schaffhausen is issuing invitations to an Open Day on September 18 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. to mark the company’s 150th anniversary this year. On the day, visitors will be treated to a look behind the scenes at the production of technical textiles and decorative trimmings over coffee and a selection of Swiss-style croissants. According to a statement, the company’s business partners can also look forward to an exclusive program of highlights on the day. Those interested in taking part are invited to register via the TTS Inova website.

“For 150 years, TTS INOVA AG has stood for quality, innovation and textile expertise”, as the company writes in the statement, adding that: “To mark this important company milestone, we cordially invite you to our open day, offering an exclusive glimpse behind the curtain at our production of high-quality technical textiles and decorative trimmings”.

In addition to offering insights into production and processes, TTS Inova has prepared an exclusive exhibition featuring various artifacts from the company’s history, which dates back to 1876 and extends all the way through to the present day.

TTS Inova is active in the home textiles and technical textiles sectors. The company has developed coaxial geothermal probes made from durable textiles, which, contrary to otherwise standard practice, do not require borehole backfilling with a bentonite-cement mixture. As such, it is also possible to use the probes in areas that are subject to stringent groundwater protection regulations. ce/nta
