(CONNECT) ISA bodywear has launched the “Sleep like a Caminada” collection. This was inspired by Andreas Caminada, one of “Europe’s most influential chefs”. As the textile company states, “bringing together top chef Andreas Caminada and the long-standing Swiss heritage company ISA bodywear results in a partnership that transcends fashion”.

The loungewear collection is reportedly to be seen as an embodiment of the attitude and values of the top chef, who hails from the canton of Graubunden in Switzerland. According to the information, it combines clear shapes and top quality fabrics with precise detailing. “I am interested in the essentials – in the kitchen, in design, in life”, Caminada explains, adding that: “This collection is designed to feel like a great meal: coherent, minimalist, but with a precise accent”.

The “Sleep like a Caminada” collection consists of four pieces – shorts and long trousers, plus a crew-neck top available in short and long-sleeved versions. All garments come in the same colorway, solid midnight blue, with only the drawstring waistband and the subtle AC monogram adding orange accents. The items are made in Switzerland from 90 percent MicroModal and 10 percent elastane. The manufacturer promises a perfect fit and first-class comfort.

Andreas Caminada was raised in Sagogn in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. Since 2003, he has been the proprietor and head chef of the Restaurant Hotel Schloss Schauenstein in Fürstenau, in the canton of Graubünden, which has been awarded three Michelin stars and 19 GaultMillau points in addition to ranking among the world’s 50 best restaurants since 2011. Caminada also runs a hotel, a bakery and a coffee roastery in the same town. Moreover, he has opened four IGNIV restaurants, three of which are located in Switzerland and one in the Thai capital Bangkok. He also serves as an ambassador for several brands and publishes a magazine bearing his name. ce/mm
