Création Baumann stages textile installation at USM

(CONNECT) Langenthal-based Création Baumann is showing its latest collection of home and interior textiles at Munich Fabric Spring 2026 from 12 to 15 March. The Swiss textile interior designer from the canton of Bern will also present its new creation “Hommage – A Love Story Between Past and Future,” announced a statement.

The collection will be on display in the USM showroom at Wittelsbacher Platz 1 in Munich. USM is a furniture manufacturer based in Münsingen in the Swiss canton of Bern. Création Baumann is also set to stage a textile installation in USM U. Schärer Söhne AG's showroom. According to Création Baumann, the space’s defined structures are designed as a creative framework, interwoven with its own vertical slats. Combining bright red and orange textiles with metal frames helps create a “multi-layered interplay of transparency, depth, and new visual perspectives”, it explains. This is also the motto of the installation: Weaving.

According to the statement, the collection “Hommage – A Love Story Between Past and Future” combines nostalgic shapes and colors from the 1960s and 1970s. The aim is reportedly to marry CréationBaumann's 140-year textile heritage with a contemporary design language. ce/ww
