(CONNECT) A team from the material innovators HeiQ, which is based in Schlieren in the canton of Zurich, Switzerland, recently traveled to the Archroma location in Panyu in the Chinese city of Guangzhou in order to put their recently agreed co-marketing cooperation into practice, as detailed in a statement. Under the terms of this agreement, the partners are planning to make the innovative functional and environmentally friendly anti-odor and antimicrobial technologies developed by HeiQ accessible around the world.
According to a statement issued back in January, the collaboration allows HeiQ technologies to be offered via the well-established global customer network of Archroma, a specialty chemicals supplier from Pratteln in the Swiss canton of Basel-Landschaft. This should make it easier for textile manufacturers to integrate functional, compliant and sustainable performance effects into their products.
Together with Archroma’s local sales and technical teams, HeiQ has been working intensively on its odor control technologies in Panyu. A joint action plan was developed to support partners throughout the region, as the statement explains. According to HeiQ, the meetings were crucial for aligning common goals and ensuring that partners are fully equipped with the technologies.
“We value our partnership with Archroma and look forward to expanding opportunities together”, HeiQ writes in the statement.
HeiQ, a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH), is headquartered at the IJZ, an innovation and start-up park located in Schlieren. The company is also a member of Start Smart Schlieren. ce/nta
