(CONNECT) The Zurich-based textile manufacturer Dagsmejan has designed an anniversary collection to mark its 10th birthday. The Anniversary Print is intended to function as a sort of visual timeline, as the company writes in a statement.
The collection is available in versions designed both for men and women. The sleepwear is printed with motifs depicting familiar scenes from Zurich, as well as images of everyday life, such as a sleep mask, breakfast and a notebook. The textiles are made of NATTCOOL, a material derived from eucalyptus fibers. This was developed with the aim of offering a cooling, dry feeling against the skin. “Our history is closely linked to our product developments”, as Catarina Dahlin, founder of Dagsmejan, explains in the statement, adding that: “The anniversary print incorporates key elements from our most important milestones and makes them visible as part of the sleepwear collection”.
Also visually rendered is the company’s link with the world of science. Since being founded in 2016, Dagsmejan has worked with local universities and sleep labs. In this context, the company leverages research into thermoregulation, moisture management and skin comfort when it comes to manufacturing the fabrics and sleepwear textiles. ce/ww
