Techtextil 2026 opened its doors in Frankfurt yesterday. The product group at the leading international trade fair represents the entire value chain in the field of technical textiles, nonwovens and apparel textiles until Friday, 24 April.

Swiss Textiles will once again be on site in the SWISS Pavilion , where 16 members will be exhibiting their innovations and making valuable contacts.

The Techtextil Forum will also take place as part of the trade fair. At the ideas platform, experts will share their knowledge during specialist presentations and panel discussions.

Swiss Textiles network wins award

In the afternoon, an international jury of experts selected top ideas in textile technology, sustainability, AI and the creation of technical textiles in seven categories and presented the Innovation Award. Among others, the joint research initiative Subitex with Empa St. Gallen, which Swiss Textiles has been instrumental in driving forward, was honoured.
